Adjustable Metal Beehive Stand – 8 & 10 Frame

An adjustable metal beehive stand for standard 8 and 10 frame Langstroth hives. Made from black powder-coated carbon steel, it lifts your hive off the ground for better ventilation, a drier bottom board and easier inspections — and unlike timber stands, it won't rot, warp or harbour pests.

Height and width adjustable

The legs adjust from 41 cm to 53 cm high, so you can set a comfortable working height and level the hive on sloping or uneven ground — each side of the stand adjusts independently. The frame adjusts from 38 cm to 48 cm wide to suit both 8 frame and 10 frame hives, and it's rated to carry up to 150 kg: a full 3-4 level hive heavy with honey.

Why raise your hive?

Elevating the hive improves airflow under a mesh vented bottom board (also available in 8 frame), reduces moisture build-up, makes life harder for ants, toads and small hive beetle, and saves your back during inspections. A stable stand is one of the simplest upgrades you can make to a complete beehive.
