The Bee Store Gift Card
A Bee Store gift card is prepaid credit for beekeeping equipment, delivered by email and redeemable on anything we sell. Choose an amount, add a message, and it lands in the recipient's inbox with a code they enter at checkout. There are no fees, and the card stays valid for five years.
What can it be spent on?
Everything in the store. Beehive kits, boxes and frames, foundation, bee suits and gloves, smokers and hive tools, honey extractors, jars and containers. If the order comes to more than the card, the difference is paid at checkout. If it comes to less, the balance stays on the card for next time.
Is a gift card a good present for a beekeeper?
It is usually the safest choice. Beekeeping gear is sized in ways that are easy to get wrong from the outside. An eight frame beekeeper cannot use ten frame boxes, Full Depth, WSP and Ideal frames are not interchangeable, and suit sizing varies between makes. A gift card lets them pick what actually fits the hives they run.
How is it delivered?
By email, usually within a few minutes of the order being placed. Nothing is posted, so there is no delivery charge and no wait, which also makes it a sensible last minute option.
What do you buy a beekeeper?
The honest answer is that gifts for beekeepers are hard to pick from the outside, because most of the gear is tied to the hive configuration they already run. The safe options are consumables and tools that work with any setup: a hive tool, a smoker, a good pair of gloves, or a starter tool kit if they are new to it. Anything sized, boxes, frames, foundation or a suit, is worth leaving to them. That is what a gift card solves.

Does the gift card expire?
Bee Store gift cards are valid for five years from the date of purchase, which is well beyond the minimum set by Australian Consumer Law. The balance does not reduce over time, and we will not charge a fee against it. If you come across a card that has passed the five year mark, please get in touch with the order number and we will do what we can to help.
Can it be used more than once?
Yes. Any unused balance stays on the card and can be spent on a later order.
Can I add a personal message?
Yes. There is a message field at checkout, and it is included in the email the recipient receives.
What if the email goes missing?
Contact us with the order number and we will resend it.
