This complete double level 20 frame beehive is made from New Zealand Pine. It is made up of 2 x full depth 10 frame supers (unassembled), the mesh screened bottom board (assembled), the galvanised lid (assembled) and includes 20 full depth frames (unassembled).

Included:

2 x 10 Frame Super Boxes - The super boxes come unassembled, are made from NZ Pine and feature dovetails joints for strength and ease of assembly.

20 Full Depth Frames - The 20 frames come unassembled and are made from high grade New Zealand Pine.

Galvanised Migratory Lid - The Galvanised lid comes assembled.

Screened Mesh Bottom Board - The bottom board comes fully assembled, is made from New Zealand Pine and feature a mesh base for hive health, ventilation and small hive beatle management. The base also have a removable draw to help trap small hive beatles

** With optional metal bound queen excluder

Please note the hive comes flat packed, with the lid and base pre-assembled. The super boxes and frames require assembly. Nails are NOT included with this kit.

Once assembled it is recommended the timber boxes be primed and painted for longevity.

Thanks for your ongoing support had some bits missing screws and nails was attended to promptly and was sent missing bits straight away no questions asked all parts fit exactly how they should and vary easy to do.

Frames good but supers required carpetry adjustment

The frames fit together well. The supers required significant carpentry (shaving) to make the dove-tail joints fit into one another. This may be as a result of a mis-configuration of the jig used to cut the joints to shape. Please check this, as it is a disappointing experience that impacts an otherwise fine product.
