Galvanised Hive Lock Strap Emlock

The Emlock is a galvanised steel hive lock strap that secures your beehive quickly — ready for transport, or to stop the lid blowing off and animals knocking the hive apart. A favourite with Australian beekeepers.

How it works

Each Emlock has three parts: a base, a strapping winder, and metal strapping. Wind the strap tight to lock the hive boxes together — no buckles or ratchets to fuss with.

Why galvanised

Unlike fabric or poly straps, the galvanised steel withstands the elements, so it can stay on the hive permanently without rusting or perishing.
