10 Frame Full Depth Deep Super Box - Flat Pack - Dovetail Joints
A full-depth 10-frame super box (bee box) — sometimes called a "deep" box — for a standard 10-frame Langstroth hive. Use it as a brood box or a honey super. Made from single-piece New Zealand pine with dovetail joints for strong, easy assembly. Supplied flat-pack and unassembled.
Choose your timber
- Thickness: 20mm or 22mm
- Commercial grade — may have some superficial knots or discolouration
- Select grade — higher-grade, knot-free timber

I opted for the thicker timber version to ensure better insulation and durability during cooler weather. The wood quality is solid, and after a quick coat of primer and outdoor paint, it looks ready to withstand years of heavy use as either a brood box or a honey super.
The flat-pack design makes storage easy until you are ready to build. However, you will need to plan ahead and have your own fasteners ready to finish the job. Overall, it is a very satisfying, heavy-duty addition to the apiary.
