8 Frame Full Depth Deep Super Box - Flat Pack - Dovetail Joints
These bee box supers are made from single piece New Zealand Pine and features dovetail joints for easy assembly.
The box is Full Depth Deep size and made to fit 8 frames. Once assembled it is recommended the timber box be primed and painted for longevity.
Please note item is supplied flat pack and unassembled. Frames shown in images are not included.
Choice of Timber Thickness: 20mm or 22mm timber thickness.
Choice of Timber Grade: Available in both commercial grade and select grade timber. The commercial grade may have some superficial knots and discolourations in the timber. The Select grade is higher grade knot free timber.
Assembled Dimensions:
20mm timber: 506mm (L) x 355mm (W) x 242mm (H)
22mm timber: 510mm (L) x 359mm (W) x 242mm (H)

Joints were so far apart it wouldn’t assemble, wood was soft and buckled

Full depth, extra thick at 22mm. Well sanded, with hand grip mouldings on all sides.
The dovetail joints fitted like hand in a glove. The pre drilled screw holes were easy to use. Very convenient. Very easy to assemble.
I finished mine with boiled linseed oil. Looks very nice.
