Is a children's mesh bee suit sting proof?
No bee suit is completely sting-proof, but the triple-layer mesh adds a real barrier — the mesh holds the outer fabric off the wearer's skin, which reduces the chance of a sting getting through compared with a single-layer cotton suit. Children should always be supervised when inspecting bees.
What age is each size for?
Small fits children up to 130cm (around age 8 on average), Medium up to 140cm (around age 10), and Large up to 150cm (around age 12). Measure your child's height rather than going by age — kids grow at different rates.
Can adults wear the children's suit?
The Children's Large can fit smaller adults up to 150cm. For most adults, our adult 3 Layer Mesh Ventilated Bee Suit is the better choice — available from Small through to 6XL.
How do I care for a bee suit?
Remove the veil before washing, use a cold gentle machine cycle, and air dry rather than using a hot dryer to protect the mesh and fabric.
