These 5 frame nuc beehive bases are made from New Zealand pine and 304 stainless steel.

The bases feature a mesh base for hive health, ventilation and small hive beatle management. The bottom board also have a removable draw tray to help trap small hive beatles. The bees chase the beatles around the hive and they fall through the mesh bottom. The beetles can be trapped by using chux cloth, oil or diatomaceous earth (check regulations in your state) in the removable tray drawer.
