These 5 Frame nuc beehives are perfect for when you are looking to do a split or catch a swarm

The hives comes flat packed, with the lid pre-assembled and the box and base requiring assembly. The hives are made from New Zealand Pine and features dovetail joints for easy assembly. Please note nails required for assembled are not included.

Once assembled it is recommended the timber box be primed and painted for longevity

Good, but required sanding.

Build quality was good. Lots of stickers and staining on the wood that required me to sand prior, as I was using a clear varnish. Metal lids also very scratched up. Possibly given seconds quality by mistake? No screws included, so you will need to buy your own. Still happy with purchase.

Easy to assemble with pre-drilled holes & finger-jointed corners 😉
Only supplier I have found that sells both complete nuc + separate boxes so can use for small colonies in winter / removals etc. Very versatile
