Varroa Sticky Mat – Counting Grid
Varroa sticky mats are an essential tool for monitoring varroa mite infestations and help beekeepers make informed treatment decisions. Designed to sit beneath a screened bottom board, the disposable sticky surface captures falling mites without allowing them to escape or crawl back into the colony. Each sheet has a peel-back cover that exposes the sticky side when you're ready to use it.
How to use
Slide the mat under your hive's screened bottom board, peel back the cover, leave in place for 24–72 hours, then count the dropped mites against the printed grid. Compare against thresholds to decide whether treatment is needed.
