These ant proof beehive feet are designed to stop ants entering your beehive.

The feet screw under your beehive base and are filled with oil in the bottom bowl to create a moat to stop the ants entering.

Price is for a set of 4 feet.

Please note screws for attachment to hive are not included.

Ants proof beehive feet - works

They work. Well designed and fabricated. I installed them on established hives so this part was bit involved but nevertheless quick and straightforward. I filled the dishes with veg oil using syringe. This is probably not necessary, but it gives me peace of mind. Top/umbrella dish is easily adjustable which is very helpful for opening the space for placing oil and then for narrowing the gap between the top and bottom dishes for preventing adventures bees from entering.

Hive feet

The feet work well. Some bees do end up in the dish but overall I’ve had no further problem with ants since I started using feet 8 months ago

Clean hive

Loved the feet, keeping ant and roches off my hive. Been looking for something like this for a while.
Recommended to anyone having bee hives.
Most importantly the price is relatively cheap. Been telling all my fellow bee keepers.
