8 Frame Ideal Super Box
This Ideal-size bee box super is made from New Zealand pine with dovetail joints for easy assembly, made to fit 8 frames. Supplied flat-packed and unassembled — once assembled, we recommend priming and painting the timber for longevity. Compatible with any standard 8-frame Langstroth hive using Ideal-size frames.
Why Ideal size?
Ideal frames and supers are about 40% smaller than the more common full depth size, so they're lighter and easier on the back when full of honey, and popular for cut comb honey. Please check your hive sizes before ordering.

Amazing Customer Service issues quickly resolved perfect A+++++
I love these ideal super box’s with predrilled counter sunk holes for quite and easy assembly.
I am going to use these Ideal supers for winter, in case I have to remove my flow frames, varroa are getting very close to us now
The boxes are great but it was disappointing that no screws or other hardware was included. Lucky I had screws left over from other projects.
Easy to assemble.
Not quite 100 percent flush when assembled
Otherwise ok.
