These Inner cover can be used for multiple purposes. They are designed to go between the top super and the lid. Firstly they can be used as a simple inner cover to block bees from going into the lid and building comb.

They are also called feeder boards as you can add a top feeder of simply add sugar on top of the board. The boards are solid so to be used as a feeder board a simple hole will need to be drilled.

Pair with the 1.5L Rapid Feeder for a top feeder option for your nucleus hive.

These partially assembled nuc boxes are easy to finish off, well constructed and arrived well packaged and in a timely manner. I added the metal entrance disk, crown/feeder board ( used a hole saw to taske out the centre) and 4 metal spring clips to hold the layers together. A lick of paint and you have a really handy swarm collection package good to go. Have moved the first swarm on to a full hive after 2-3 weeks. The bees settled in so quick! Absolutely recommended, but do get those extras to make your life easier.

5 Frame Nuc

Loved the whole package with a screen bottom board and the feeder system, I think these will be very versatile. The sides fitted well and my only comment is that I will need to find a way to fix the feeders in place.
