This two frame economical extractor is perfect for the hobby beekeeper with only one or two hives.

 

It is constructed of a heavy food grade plastic with a steel shaft, plastic honey gate and a plastic lid. The drum is 65cm tall with a 40cm diameter.

Everything worked very well on my first effort

I had to realign gearing and handle to be able to spin workings. Once realigned the unit functioned correctly.

Works well after some modification. The top bearing fell out on first use and required the addition of a washer and screw to hold it in place. The drive gears were rough and noisy and required filing to smooth out the burrs
