10 Frame - Gabled Beehive Lid
Gabled beehive lids (sometimes called a pigeon roof) are not only attractive but help keep your beehive cooler in summer and dryer in winter. The pitched roof and end vent holes provide extra ventilation for heat and moisture to escape. They also provide extra protection from the elements due to the roof overhang.
The lids are made from pine and can be ordered assembled or unassembled.
Gabled roofs are generally used in conjunction with a hive mat or crown board (not included) to prevent bees drawing honeycomb in the roof cavity

I have finished the roofs , they look great, easy to assemble & fit well. Am really happy with the product thank you.
Well made product, delivered in flat pack, in 8 & 10 frame sizes, which I am now preparing to install this month.
Service great however quality of bee hive top not the best. Example two split pieces of roofing boards. Some glue and paint has helped the problem.
Thrilled with the gable roofs, they fit perfectly on our existing hives. Very quick delivery : )
