These one piece plastic frames are a single piece of moulded plastic which includes the plastic frame and full depth foundation.

There are many benefits of using plastic foundation and frames over the tradition wax including:

they are very durable and less likely to be damaged when scrapping with a hive tool
because it can be used over and over it is more cost effective
wax moth and mice can not destroy it
the black colour make spotting eggs easier for your hive inspection
can be stored at any temperature
no blow out when extracting the honey
there is no need to spend hours building, wiring and waxing like you do with regular timber frames as these durable plastic frames come ready to use.

The frames and foundation are made from food grade plastic and are super durable. They can be used multiple times saving you time and money.

Overall dimension of the individual frame is W 48.1cm x D 3.3cm x H 23.1cm

For best results we recommend to coat with a thin layer of melted beeswax on the surface prior to putting them in the hive.

Two things. They are not shaped at the top to space themselves well in the hive. that is a small thing. The one I do not like it the cavities all around suitable for hive beetles.

Plastic frames ,vented beesuit

Very happy with the price and quality of the frames ,also the vented beesuits we ordered the price can't be beaten IV had bees a long time and this was my first order with the bee store and il be ordering again after the speed at which my gear arrived at my farm gate ,,camel man,,

Plastic frames are an irregular size. Makes using in standard langstroth boxes difficult

These plastic frames are slightly smaller than my standard frames that i have purchased from elsewhere. Makes the spacing bigger than ideal. Could actually fit 9 frames in an 8 frame box. I guess if all you used was these frames you would get used to it. I probably wont buy these again however.
