Double Beehive - Full Depth Hive unassembled with 16 unassembled Frames
This complete double level 16 frame beehive is made from New Zealand Pine. It is made up of 2 x full depth 8 frame supers, the bottom board (with cleats), galvanised lid and includes 16 frames.
Included:
- 2 x 8 Frame Super Boxes - The super boxes come unassembled, are made from NZ Pine and feature dovetails joints for strength and ease of assembly.
- 16 Full Depth Frames - The 16 frames come unassembled and are made from high grade New Zealand Pine.
- Galvanised Migratory Lid - The Galvanised lid comes assembled.

Bottom Board and Cleats - The bottom board is made from 11mm ply with the cleats and risers made from solid NZ Pine. The bottom board required assembly.
- Nails and Assembly Instructions - All nails for assembly included
Please note the hive comes flat packed, with the lid pre-assembled and the box, frames and base require assembly with the included nails.
Optional Add-Ons:
Queen Excluder - choice of plastic, galvanised metal or stainless steel
Foundation - choice of 100% Australian beeswax, black plastic foundation, yellow plastic foundation
Eyelets & Wire - only required with beeswax foundation
Once assembled it is recommended the timber boxes be primed and painted for longevity.

We are very happy with the bee hive. It was easy to assemble for beginners. We love the bee suit too.
The double beehive full depth unassembled with 20 wooden frames with plastic foundation came in a flat pack. The complete hive was put together in minutes and the instructions sheet was very easy to understand. The kit came with ample brass nails to put together. Overall the double beehive is a very good and strong product and it is very very good value for the price. I will certainly be doing more Business with the Bee Store and I highly recommend the double beehive.
I enjoyed putting it together and thinking of getting another hive with mesh base with draw for bottom board. Love this hive. Such great value.
Good quality but only came with 14 of the 16 frames and had to trim joints to assemble the boxes
I have made one double beehive and it is great. Easy to put together. waiting till grandson arrives to do other two. only thing is i ordered Yellow plastic foundation and i don't mean to order them. not sure what to do with them as we use waxed foundation.
