Hessian / Burlap / Jute is a favoured smoker fuel for beekeepers due to the thick, cool white smoke it produces. Free from glue and other chemicals in cardboard, this provides a cleaner smoke that is less of an irritant to bees. It is less likely to kick out sparks than pine needles or other leaf litter, which can be dangerous in bushfire season in Australia.

Sold in convenient rolls of approximately 300cm that can be placed directly into the smoker. Each roll can last several hours.
