8 Frame Stainless Steel Queen Excluder

A stainless steel queen excluder sized for a standard 8 frame bee hive (505mm × 355mm). The bee-pass slots let worker bees move freely up into the honey supers but stop the larger queen — keeping eggs and brood out of your honey frames for cleaner harvests.

Why use a queen excluder?

If the queen accesses the honey supers and lays eggs there, it becomes harder to harvest clean honey free of brood. A queen excluder is a simple way to keep her in the brood box where she belongs.
