Clearer boards (or Escape boards) are used to help remove the bees from the honey super.
A bee escape acts as a one-way door that allows workers to leave the honey super and return to the brood box during the night but will not allow them to re-enter the honey super.
To use, place a bee escape board below the honey super and return 24 hours later. The honey super will be mostly empty of bees.
