Galvanised Hive Lock Emlock with Poly Nylon Strapping

These galvanised hive locks with nylon strapping consists of 3 parts - the base, the strapping winder and poly woven strapping. The poly nylon strapping is softer than the metal strapping variety and is therefore often used by beekeepers with polystyrene beehives.

The hive lock provides a quick and easy-to-use method to strap your hive securely, ready for transport or to prevent the lid from being blown off, or animals knocking the hive apart.

The Emlock base and strapping winder are galvanised, while the poly nylon strapping is UV treated and can withstand the elements unlike other strapping if kept on permanently
