A 36-litre honey settling tank holding approximately 50kg of honey, made from food-grade 304 stainless steel with a stainless steel lid and your choice of plastic or stainless steel honey gate. Each tank includes a double filter that sits on top to catch wax and debris as honey is poured in. The mid-size choice for hobby and small-commercial beekeepers settling and bottling honey after extraction.

Great service

I recently purchased a 36L settling tank from the bee store.It is perfect and and was most economical .Mine came with a stainless tap.Unortunatly the tap was left off the delivery.However The Bee Store were quick to apologise and sent me a new tap immediately.That's great service,a great product at a great price .I value honesty that is what I liked and valued more than anything.Thank you.

Honey Settling Tank with Metal Gate

The tank has lots of surface scratches and the lid had small dents - all cosmetic otherwise it is a fantastic size. One frame of honey doesn't reach the gate to allow it to flow out to give you an idea of the size.
I upgraded to the metal gate, from the plastic. Luckily the plastic gate was still sent with the tank as the Metal gate is poorly designed, and you can't open the catch as the opening is too small to allow the gate to open (I will have to grind the catch to make it bigger to fix the catch to get it to work).
The gates are designed for a flat surface and would be best suited to a square container not a round container - yet to test if I will get a good seal considering this design limitation.
Would be good if this kit had a frame holder included or as an option so you can have a frame sitting and draining into the sieves.
