These folding nucleus hives are a perfect solution if you looking for a temporary hive for selling nucs or catching swarms. They are made from corrugated plastic cardboard (sometimes referred to as Corflute) and are lightweight and strong.

Each nuc comes with entrance disc. Please note the nuc hives come unassembled and do not include frames. Sold in packs of 5 or 40

Hives were quite tricky to put together check the website I purchased from for video but couldn’t find one

Great service from The Bee Store as usual

Folding Nucs are generally of good quality. One of the 5 had a minor cutout defect but was extremely quickly rectified by The Bee Store by sending out a replacement. Always impressed with their prompt service.
I found the pins for fastening the entrance disks left them a little loose. For a tighter fit I replaced them with a 25mm split pin from officeworks. Works a treat.

No instructions on how to fold, found easy enough on y tube. The pins that come with it to hold the entrance disk on is useless, will need a small nut and bolt if you are going to use them.
