Clearer boards (or Escape boards) are used to help remove the bees from the honey super.

To use, simply place the clearer board under the honey super you wish to remove. When the bees leave the super for the night to tend to the brood or for further forraging they cannot return to the honey super.

For best results it is recommended to place the clearer board and leave overnight before removing the honey super the following day. Do not leave for too long as the bees can figure out how to re-enter.

This is suitable for an 8 frame super.

Made from timber and galvanised steel for the bee escapes.

Worked perfectly! Can not fault for what I need it for.
I popped it on Friday afternoon between my full super & popped an empty super underneath, took it off Sunday afternoon and there were only three friendly drones left in the super!

Was able to inspect the super and harvest half while leaving the other half, with no bee deaths and was able to spend as long as I needed inspecting.
